BISBEE - A CIVICS LESSON
HISTORY'S TIDBIT - During the 1964 general presidential election, a local service station owner in Bisbee AZ gave free elephant and donkey masks to children in the Warren area of town. Even though Bisbee's voter make-up was highly Democratic, a large number of local children chose to wear elephant masks in support of Arizona's native son, Barry Goldwater.
